This is a slang expression which means that they got married yesterday, but hitched could have several meanings, like for example, to fasten with or as if with a loop, hook, or noose. Another informal meaning of hitch is to hitchhike that means making a ride by asking to someone if you can go in his car for free!

    I think this expression means that someone will get "arrested" or will get a strong connection with someone or something.
    It is an expression that is usually used when someone is getting married. It is supposed the bride and groom stay together forever.
