    In my words this expression means that we should not make hasty decisions without thinking properly about them, when we are upset or angry with someone or some situation.

    Hi! I am Catarina from 5ºA. My understanding of this expression is that in some circumstances, like a discussion and/or a conflict situation we should give time to think and to calm down before taking any action/decision.

    I think this expression means that people after a conflict or a discussion should take it easy and hope that this feeling of anger goes, because sometimes we say things we do not want and that we may later regret.
